Mission

Our mission is to provide necessary resources to allow every student to succeed in school. We provide free 1-on-1 tutoring for K-8 students to give them an engaging learning environment that allows them to further their understanding in their academics.

Students have different learning needs, and some lack the resources to perform at the best of their abilities. There is a huge gap of education equality, so our goal is to lessen that gap by providing students with the resources they need in order to ensure equal opportunities for all students. Our services allow any struggling student to improve and become thriving learners. Having major struggles academically at a younger age is correlated with lower high school graduation rates, so our services aim to set up young students for a lifetime of academic success. Students who cannot afford paid tutoring services should not be left behind, so we offer free high-quality services that are available to every student.

WHAT WE DO

Providing Free Educational Services for K-8 Students

Our organization is here to provide free educational services for any K-8 student. Currently, we are focused on providing free 1-on-1 tutoring for any K-8 students who sign up for our service. The service is fully online at the moment due to the circumstances. The tutoring is done with a diverse set of qualified volunteers*, who are mostly high school students, so the volunteers will be able to relate and easily engage with the learners.

Once in-person school is safe, we plan on expanding our tutoring service to schools and other public places. We also have plans for other educational services aimed at young learners, but we currently are focusing on free tutoring.

*Note: The volunteers go through an application process that makes sure they are highly qualified and fit for teaching younger students.

Who We Are

We are a group of high school students who all share the goal of helping younger students be successful learners. Currently, we (the founders) are all juniors in high school. Our team consists of three founders and several other students either in high school or college.

Growing up in the public school system, we noticed how there were not enough free learning services for students, so we decided to work hard in filling the vacuum. Many students suffer because of a lack of learning resources, and we understand the hardships of learning without the resources needed for success. With our organization, we hope to help bridge the gap between students who do and don't have access to adequate learning resources outside of school.
